Trenchless Drain Repairs, No Digging

Repair a damaged drain without excavating your garden, driveway, or floor. Our trenchless method uses blue-light cured-in-place pipe technology to fix pipes from the inside.

A traditional drain repair usually means one thing: a hole. Dig up the garden, break through the driveway, or lift the floor to reach the damaged pipe — then repair the ground on top of the repair itself. It's disruptive, it's messy, and it adds real time and cost to a job that, structurally, might only need a few metres of pipe fixed.

Trenchless repair changes that. Instead of digging down to the pipe, we access it from existing points and repair it from the inside, using cured-in-place pipe technology. For most cracked, damaged, or structurally compromised sections, it's a faster, cleaner, and often more affordable way to get the same structural result.

What's included. Trenchless and no-dig drain repair covers a range of methods, including drain relining and blue-light cured-in-place pipe technology, used to repair cracked, damaged, or structurally weak sections of drain without excavation. The technique involves inserting a liner into the damaged pipe and curing it in place using blue light, forming a new structural layer inside the existing pipe.

Why customers choose Flux Sewer for this. This is our flagship service, and it reflects what we invested in as a business: modern no-dig equipment and the expertise to use it properly. Where excavation would mean days of disruption, a trenchless repair can often be completed in a fraction of the time, with far less mess and a lower overall cost than a full dig-up. It's also a genuinely lower-impact option for your garden, driveway, or the ground around your property.

How the process works. We start with a CCTV survey to confirm the drain is a good candidate for a trenchless repair — not every defect suits it, so we're honest about that from the outset. If it's suitable, we prepare the liner, insert it into the damaged section, and cure it in place using blue-light technology, restoring the structural integrity of the pipe without opening up the ground above it.

Who this service is for. Trenchless repair suits homeowners who don't want their garden or driveway dug up, property owners managing older drainage systems with structural defects, and anyone who needs a repair completed with minimal disruption and downtime.

Our approach. We provide a free quotation once a CCTV survey confirms the extent of the repair needed, and every job is carried out by our fully insured team using current no-dig technology.

Key Benefits

  • No excavation — driveways, gardens and floors stay untouched
  • Faster turnaround than traditional dig-and-replace repairs
  • Blue-light-cured-in-place pipe technology for a strong structural fix
  • Significantly less mess and disruption
  • A cost-effective alternative to full pipe replacement

How It Works

01

CCTV assessment

We survey the drain first to confirm trenchless repair is the right solution for the defect found.

02

Prepare the pipe

The damaged section of pipe is cleaned and prepared ready for the lining or repair material.

03

Cured-in-place repair

A resin liner is introduced and cured in place using blue-light technology, forming a new structural pipe within the old one.

04

Final CCTV check

We carry out a final camera pass to confirm the repair is sound and the drain is flowing freely.

What Our Customers Say

“Reliable, well-intentioned, friendly service, fair costs with specialist knowledge, up-to-date gear and technology equipment. Highly recommended.”

“I'm just finishing off a ten year refurb of my 1850s cottage, so I have some experience with engaging contractors to handle the jobs I can't/am not allowed to. It seems to be rare these days to find businesses that are at the same time competent, prompt, flexible, efficient, tidy and reasonably priced. I'm happy to say that this was the case with Flux Sewer – Ben and his team went out of their way to accommodate my wishes as they constructed a new drain for my property. I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone who needs any drainage work done.”

Rob Buttress

“I don't give out 5* lightly. Fantastic service from 2 honest blokes. Fast, efficient, and actually came in cheaper than the quote. Ben decided that some of the work I had asked for a quote on didn't need doing. Both the guys who came were polite, well-spoken and friendly. My drain was repaired quickly and cleanly, and as I said, cheaper than the original quote, which was already considerably cheaper than the quote I had from another company. I would highly recommend Ben and Flux Sewer Ltd.”

Richard Hallett

“Really professional and efficient service. The issue I had was a long term problem that the former owner of my property had employed numerous companies to address but never resolved. Flux diagnosed the issue, fixed the problem then spent time mapping and clearing out the damaged pipes so an ongoing maintenance routine can be implemented to manage an issue that will always exist, but can now be controlled by simple routine procedures. I am really happy with the outcome and will now use the Flux team again to help manage the rest of my complex Georgian water supply and drainage system.”

Neil Emery

“We had an issue with our drains backing up due to a reduction in the size of the soil pipe, as it's an older property. Ben came out and surveyed the pipe work with his camera, before returning and replacing a length of pipe and benching the manhole. He always arrived when he said he would. Very polite, worked quickly and efficiently, and the cost of the repair was reasonable. Very pleased.”

Common Questions About Trenchless & No-Dig Drain Repairs

It's a trenchless repair method where a liner is inserted into the damaged section of drain and cured in place using blue light, forming a new structural pipe wall from the inside — without any excavation.

Not every defect suits a no-dig repair. We always assess this with a CCTV survey first and will tell you honestly if excavation is genuinely the better option for your specific problem.

There's no digging up your garden, driveway, or floor, and no reinstatement work afterwards. Most trenchless repairs are completed with far less mess and in less time than a comparable dig-up repair.

It's often more cost-effective overall, since there's no excavation, no reinstatement of the ground surface, and typically less labour time involved. We'll always give you a free quotation so you can compare.

It varies depending on the length and condition of the damaged section, but because there's no excavation or reinstatement required, it's typically faster than a traditional repair. We'll give you a clear timeframe as part of your quotation.
